Guatemala is a top producer of coffee in Central America, having begun cultivating the produce in the 1850s.
Three volcanoes (Agua, Fuego and Acatenango) surround the plantations in Guatemala. Being 1,650 metres above sea level, this coffee benefits from the rich volcanic soil and excellent growing conditions. There are three varieties: Typica, Bourbon, and Caturra.
This coffee is chocolatey and sweet with a beautiful body. The aroma is reminiscent of blackberries.
