Although Rwanda is small, the coffee from this African country is extraordinary. There are approximately 400,000 small-scale coffee growers in Rwanda. Exporting coffee from this country can be costly because it doesn't have a coastline. All of the coffee is Arabica.
This coffee is made from Bourbon and Typica varieties and is grown at 1,400 to 1,900 meters. The Rwanda Trading Company in Kigali hulls, grades and sorts the coffee by hand, ensuring the highest quality and supplies us directly.
Beautiful hints of cranberries can be found in this sweet and well balanced coffee. We roast them to a light to medium roast.
